Shipping Policy
All purchased items will usually ship within 2-3 business days by the USPS method you have selected. Classic Audio Products of Illinois is not
responsible for items that are lost, stolen or damaged in shipping. That is why we provide you with the opportunity to purchase insurance for
your order during the check out procedure. We strongly recommend this option for your orders.
Domestic Shipping Methods
Express Mail: Overnight delivery to most locations. Insurance up to $100 is included.
Priority Mail: Our preferred Domestic method. Delivers in 1-3 days, within 2 days in most cases. Insurance is optional and recommended.
First Class Mail: Delivers in 1-5 days. This method has a weight limit of 13 ounces or less. Insurance is optional and recommended.
Shipping times may be extended for this method.
International Shipping Methods
Express Mail International: Delivers in 3-5 days. Insurance is optional and recommended. Order is updated with USPS ID. Package
is fully traceable online.
Priority Mail International: Delivers in 6-10 days. Insurance is optional and recommended. Order is updated with USPS ID.
Although the USPS agreement with foreign Postal Services does not require the scanning and reporting of activity to the USPS servers, most
seem to scan them which makes them traceable online.
First Class Mail International: Delivery times vary depending upon location. This method has a weight limit of 4 pounds or less.
Insurance is optional and recommended. The customs form used on this label has a $399.99 value limit. Therefore, if your order is over
$399.99, First Class International is not an option. Priority Mail will be the lowest cost option. Although the USPS ID will be notated
in the Order Update email, First Class International packages are NOT TRACEABLE ONLINE. Typically, the last update you will see is when
the package leaves the Chicago O’Hare sort facility. From there, it boards a plane to the final destination country. After that, we
cross our fingers and hope it doesn’t take too long.
Priority Mail International Small Flat Rate Box: Delivers in 6-10 days. This method does not show up as an option. If it makes
sense for you, you must add a note in the Comments Box on the Delivery Information page requesting “Flat Rate Box Please”. The cost for
this is a flat rate of $12.95. The weight limit is 4 pounds or less. The box is size restrictive so not all orders will fit. We will
determine if it is possible after your request. The box is 5-3/8” X 8-5/8” X 1-5/8". Insurance is optional and recommended. We will credit any cost savings back to you through PayPal with a refund if you request Flat Rate Box
***Please note: Quoted International delivery times do not include customs processing. It is very normal for a First Class International
package to take 4-6 weeks to arrive. The loss ratio is very small but the time in transit can be very long. Foreign customs and
foreign Postal Services are in absolutely no hurry to deliver these packages. If you choose this method, please be prepared to possibly
wait this long. Priority Mail is a much better solution for a minimal increase in cost.
Return policy
If you are not completely satisfied with our products, you may return them for a full refund (shipping excluded) subject to the following
terms and conditions:
1. All returns must be accompanied by a valid Return Authorization Number (RA#). To be given a valid RA# you must be able to supply a
copy of the invoice/receipt, order number or invoice number. Please call us at 708-417-5192 to obtain an RA#. All returns that do not
clearly display an RA# on the outside of the packaging will automatically be refused. All RA#s must be issued within ten (10) days of
receiving the product. If there is a problem with your order, please DO NOT DELAY in contacting us!
2. All returned product must be in "as received" condition and unaltered in any way. Do not install, solder, drill, strip, paint,
file, or alter the product in any way until you have thoroughly inspected it! Product that has been altered in any way will not be accepted
for return!
3. Product must be packaged securely and with sufficient protection to avoid damage in transit. If, in our opinion, any product shows
evidence of damage, misuse, improper handling or insufficient packaging, it will not be eligible for exchange or refund consideration.
4. We will pay the return shipping costs if the product is defective or the return is a result of our error.
5. No returns will be accepted after 30 days.
6. Upon inspection of the returned products, you will be credited via PayPal with in 5 business days.
